Education and The Voice of Experience

Expand Your Knowledge of Emergency Notification and NG9-1-1 Call Handling

Experience really is the best teacher. Good or bad, we have probably all learned valuable lessons that help us in our careers and, oftentimes, our own lives. These lessons can come from our own actions but the trick to valuable learning is recognizing these opportunities in others’ experiences. Now is your chance.

The home of VESTA® is offering an education series now through the end of the year where you can share in the knowledge and experience of those who use emergency notification and NG9-1-1 technology to create smarter ways to keep their communities safe. And, you can do so from your desktop or phone.

Here are the highlights.

The VESTA® Emergency Notification Summit Series 2016
This summit offers a unique opportunity to gain new insights into Incident Lifecycle Management for Public Safety and Group and Team Employee Notification. We examine in detail the best practices to Prepare/Respond/Recover in an event. The series is appropriate for stakeholders who are actively involved in critical communications for Public Safety, business resilience and/or Federal operations. Regardless of your industry or experience level, there’s something to gain by taking part.

The series wraps up in December with an Emergency Notification white paper for participants that’ll give some surprising insights.

9-1-1 Call Handling – The Flood and The Fire
Last summer, we offered a set of webinars based on real-life situations PSAPs must deal with and how the VESTA solutions help them. The feedback was just tremendous. Those of you who attended said – do more and let us hear directly from PSAPs. And so that is what we’re doing.

Join us for The Flood and The Fire and hear directly from Washington County, Texas (part of the Brazos Valley Council of Government) and San Bernardino Police Department discuss how the VESTA® 9-1-1 solution helped them through events that shattered their communities: a devastating flood and one of the most destructive fires in California history.
